Goodreads asked Linda Govik:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Linda Govik The best way to deal with writer's block is, as everyone else is probably saying, just to sit down and write. Or, alternatively, skip the writing for a while. It's like this: if you don't have any deadlines with your writing, you don't NEED to write. Do other things until the block vanishes. The urge to write will be stifled on occasion, but never completely gone.
Another way might be to skip whatever part in your writing it is that you can't really be bothered with, and move on to write something else. It might be another scene from the same WiP, or something new, or just a journal entry.
