Allison
Allison asked Isaac Marion:

Hi, I know that you said in the Burning World that you were going to experiment with a broader implication of human nature, just not solely focusing on R this time. How are you going to do that? Are you going to stay with the first person narrative of R, or will you transition point of views throughout the novel?

Isaac Marion The perspective in these books is...unusual. It alternates between R's first person narrative and a third person omniscient view of various other characters...which is being related to us in first person by...something omniscient.

If you've read the new edition of The New Hunger, you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about. The excerpt of The Burning World here on Goodreads also shows an example of this shifting POV. But you'll have to read the book to understand what's actually going on.
