Hey, Maya! I'm not sure which book you are asking about, but I'll just tell you about The Golden Braid, which comes out a week from today! It's about Rapunzel and her mother, Gothel, and they move around a lot. She is a little suspicious about how she came to live with Gothel, since she has told Rapunzel a couple of different stories. As they are on their way to Hagenheim, they meet a handsome knight, Sir Gerek, one of Duke Wilhelm's men. The rest of the story is about how Rapunzel figures out the error of her mother's teaching her not to trust people, not to want to get married, and to be loyal only to her.

Hi Melanie, I finished The Silent Songbird and completely loved it. I do wonder, are the Le Wyse family and the Gerstenberg family connected somehow that I missed? Also a great opportunity has arisen for me about publishing my novel and I am super excited as I head into the second draft. And I am also super excited about your Aladdin retelling and Mulan retelling.
