How did you get published the very first time you did it? Did you have an agent, did you self-publish, what? Sincerely, a writer who would love to one day half a fraction of the talent that you do.

Hi! Thank you for your incredibly kind words. :)
I didn't get published the very first time--not at all. :) I wrote three manuscripts before Cracked Up to Be and I tried for representation for each of them. Consequently, I have hundreds of rejections. I didn't have any contacts/connections in the publishing industry, so I did what most writers do--researched agents and sent queries to those I thought would be a good fit for me and my work. One was, and she found an editor who was also a good fit for me and my work. I'm not opposed to self-publishing but traditional publishing was the route I wanted to explore for myself.
I hope that answers your question!

Are you already planning a follow-up to Sadie? I need to see her return in another book soon. She is unforgettable--such a strong woman character to have inside the pages, yet she reveals her weaknesses, too. Just finished the early release copy and I am in turmoil over it. And, that is great because it says so much about this story and your writing. OFF the Charts! Thanks for the chance to read it early!

Hi! I have a question regarding Sadie. How do I start the story? Should I listen to the podcast first and then read the book? Is the audiobook different from the podcast? I really want to get started, but I’m a bit confused about the podcast part. Someone else said the book is a transcript of the podcast , but I want to hear from YOU the recommended order for the best experience. Thanks in advance! :) :)
