Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sharon Johnson Beyond A Reasonable Doubt is my most recent work, it comes out 11/30/2015. I was inspired by my love of paranormal shapshifters. I've always loved paranormal books and movies, and shapshifter romance novels. I love the idea of soul mates, but of course I wanted to make them have to fight for their HEA.
