I often have dreams like the character Pete does, very vivid with recurring story lines that cross many nights.I wondered what would happen if someone found out his dreams were actual visits to somewhere else, another plane of existence. I don't remember where the voodoo inspirations came from, except that I've always found them really creepy.
I'm glad you are enjoying the audio version. David Stifel is a splendid narrator and also did my novel Dark Inspiration.

Not a question, just a word of appropriate appreciation. Read all the Grant Coleman adventures. Loved your use of language. The little details in dialogue are what had me hooked. Your writing flows so cleverly that even someone not interested in the story (highly unlikely, or genre, which is a lot more likely!) can enjoy it. Loved it each time Grants says, "What do you know? Still alive." Awaiting the next.
