Hello Jonathan, Are going to continue beyond book 7 Colonel? if so how many books are you planning? I really like this series. Thank you for writing it. Thank you for your service to our country. Chris

Thanks, Chris, for the kind words. This series is ending after one more book. All the books, except for Lieutenant Colonel, had been planned since the beginning (although I wish I had fit in a Gunny after Sergeant as some story lines came to me while writing).
However, I have four books already planned for the same universe. One is a stand alone, and three will be a new series. I just thought I needed to tell new tales from someone other than Ryck's perspective.
And it was my pleasure to serve. Thank you for your support and for paying my salary for all those years. :)

Just finished Sniper and really enjoyed it. I just have one tiny little quibble; twice you referred to "diffusing" a situation. Normally the phrase is "defuse the situation", like defusing a bomb. Did you intend to use the different word, to imply usage had changed in the future, or was it a malapropism? Regardless, I enjoyed it, and I'm going to read Gladiator to find out about them.

Just about finished "The United Federation Marine Corps" series that my USMC son lent me to read. It was an enjoyable read. My question, as an amateur historian & USAF veteran is, do you mention in any of your books/stories the history of the alliance the USMC & USAF had after WW2 to insure the independence of the USAF & the continuation of the Corps? I know, like Rodney Dangerfield said, "We don't get no respect!"

I have discovered a small error between "Sergeant" and "Lieutenant". In "Sergeant" Bobbi Samuelson is killed, but he is back as Ryck's recon partner in "Lieutenant". If you've heard it before, I regret that I mention it again. Is that rigght? It may also be that I have misunderstood something, because my language is Danish, and if so I am very sorry.
