Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Andrew Seiple So, years ago I crafted a superhero universe for a game. The game was an RPG/Strategy hybrid called "Total War", and endless variations of it were played out on a forum I enjoyed visiting. Due to time constraints my game didn't get very far before I had to pull the plug, but I kept the universe notes.

Years later, after much reflection, I think the universe I built is worth exploring. So I'm creating multiple series, following various characters and events of the setting. Dire : Born is the first real novel of this, the "Tales from the Teslaverse" series.
