How do you get inspired to write?

Susan H. Crawford Different things inspire me to write. Memories or a song or even rain. Especially rain. And wind. Sometimes it's an actual thing, like an abandoned car in a field off a highway in the middle of nowhere, or sometimes it's what is not visible, what's left unsaid in a conversation, the things we don't really present to the world - the little mysteries.
