Michael I'm **way** behind on my Royce & Hadrian books. Do you have a list somewhere (I thought I remember seeing it) of best order to read them in?
Michael J. Sullivan
Hey Carl, I recommend reading in order of publication so that would mean the following order:
* Theft of Swords (Riyria Revelations #1 and #2)
* Rise of Empire (Riyria Revelations #3 and #4)
* Heir of Novron (Riyria Revelations #5 and #6)
* The Crown Tower (Riyria Chronicles #1)
* The Rose and the Thorn (Riyria Chronicles #2)
* The Death of Dulgath (Riyria Chronicles #3)
There are a few short stories, which are written to be stand alone stories and can be read in any order these include:
* The Jester
* Professional Integrity
* The Viscount and the Witch
I would not that the last one (Viscount and the Witch) actually is the seed that grew into the Riyria Chronicles. As such, it ended up being chapter #2 of that novel, so if you've read The Rose and the Thorn - you can skip that short.
Thanks for asking.

Hello! I sent an email and FB message regarding this question. But here goes! 1. Will we ever get POST revelations materials? The descendants of the characters from the original books? 2. Is there a way one can access the little author's notes after a person finishes the relations books? You had once sent it to me long ago but I have lost access to it.

Hi Michael, I write stories with a friend of mine. We haven't fleshed out the stories into full books but we've made a number stories over the last 3-4 years. Recently, we came to the end of the world we created and I was surprised at how satisfying and painful it was in equal measure to let our characters rest. Have you ever felt something like that?
