How do you get inspired to write?

J. Manuel I have heard voices in my head since as far back as I can remember and one day I finally started to write them down. It's not so much to say that I get inspired by anything in particular. I just see scenes in my mind's eye and I find the words to describe them. I think this is medically called auditory and visual hallucination but I've avoided diagnosis because I trust my paranoia! Why do you ask?!
