Goodreads asked Nancy Carabio Belanger:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Nancy Carabio Belanger The best thing is meeting my readers at book signings and seeing how my books touch their lives. One girl came up to me recently with an old, well-read copy of Olivia and the Little Way. She was about 13 years old, and I had never signed it. When I opened up the book, I couldn’t help but notice that several passages had been underlined and highlighted; some even had arrows. She told me that she had chosen St. Therese as her patron saint for confirmation. As I gave the book back to her, I casually asked her how she had gotten to know about the Little Flower. She did not say a word, just simply smiled and held up my book. I felt this indescribable peace and happiness flow through me when she did that and I blinked back tears. God is so good!
