That's great news that all of your books are being optioned! As I read Something Missing, I kept thinking that Jim Carrey would be perfect as Martin, if it ever were to become a film--I think he would able to capture Martin's OCD and socially awkward nuances in a believable and amiable way, while maintaining the quirky, humorous tone of the book. What do you think?

It's always so hard for me to envision any actor for any character in my books because I have such a clear vision of who that character is. It's frustrating for producers and directors who ask me who I could see in the role. I never have a good answer.
That said, yes, if I had to choose someone other than the Martin in my head, Jim Carrey would be an excellent choice.

I've just started your Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend book and I'm an ABA therapist for a kiddo with autism. How would you say you researched to tell the story from the point of view of the imaginary friend (as he seems to understand Max so well)? Do you have Asperger's or someone you know that does? Thanks!
