Don't give up and make sure you write for yourself. Writing for me is a great outlet and a hobby that I love. Treat it that way and you'll be just fine. Most important tip, try not to let others beat you down. No matter how well you write you won't satisfy everyone. It''s important to listen to helpful criticism but you have to develop thick skin.
