Reading "YOU" over December with students in my class turned me into a huge fan. I enjoy psychological thrillers that really stay with "YOU". I heard a rumor that Showtime bought the rights to turn your book into a cable network show. Can you elaborate yet if this is true, or is Reese Whiterspoon grabbing the film rights already? Thank "YOU"

You heard correctly, Charries! YOU is in development at Showtime. We'll see what happens this year. I love Showtime--The Affair and Shameless are two of my favorites--so this is so exciting. And I'll keep you posted!
Thanks so much for sharing the book with your students. I enjoyed studying psychology (especially abnormal psychology, of course) and I love to read psychological thrillers that leave a lasting imprint. Say hello to your students for me! And check out Don't You Cry by Mary Kubica when it comes out this spring. I finished it this weekend and you really come away from it thinking about background, childhood. I'm always interested in the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves, and Mary is wonderful at exploring those stories in her work.

Hi Caroline! Greetings from a big fan here in Copenhagen, Denmark. Just listened to YOU and HIDDEN BODIES almost back-to-back. I'm impressed with how insanely well written they are. Santino Fontana did an amazing job as the narrator. And talking about audio books: Do you listen to audio books yourself?

Hi Caroline, "You" was a really exceptional book-so original- I felt I could not stop reading it and when it was done I felt like I had done something wrong--really a weird vibe... Bravo... but, why did you change Amy's eye color from chestnut in "You" to blue in your sequel "Hidden Bodies"? This is driving me crazy-aside from Joe making me really scared and creeped out-What color are his eyes/hair? I need to know.
