How do you get inspired to write?

Malcolm Hughes Anything can inspire me. The key is to remember what has inspired me, which is why I always keep a journal of ideas, things I've seen or heard that interest me, for future use. I've written since I was twelve years old. I don't find inspiration or things that inspire me difficult to find. But my memory is pretty poor, so the journal is a great way of noting it all.
