I have to read this book. My father and his siblings graduated high school from Dell City, Texas. How in the world did you find, and why did you choose this tiny farming/ranching community for the setting?

Hi Toni,
Thanks for reading SEVEN-X. Originally I was researching states with the death penalty and Texas was the state that seemed to fit the story best. I started googling through Texas looking for small towns that were remote enough to act as a buffer town for the asylum.
When I saw Dell City and it's location, water routing and community, it felt like the perfect setting for the story.
