I write through it. I might be working on a passage and feel totally uninspired, but I keep writing even if it's slow and stilted and I feel like the prose is bland. Eventually, I'll hit a scene that gets the creative juices flowing. For me, the act of writing is a catalyst to inspiration.

How did you first get a book published? What did you have to go through to get where you are now? Any advice for curious strangers who want to get some of their work published, but lack confidence in their work?
