Did you self-publish your books, or are they published through a publishing house? Do you have any tips on the process for aspiring authors?

Jaye L. Knight Yes, I am independently published. Living Sword Publishing is an imprint that I set up for myself a few years ago. I started out self-publishing because I didn't really know what else to do, but now it's a decided choice on my part. It's more beneficial for me to have control of the entire publishing process. The best advice I can give to aspiring authors is to learn the craft and keep writing. ;) My first books could definitely use a lot of work, but you can't learn everything overnight or with just one book. Each new project teaches you something. And for anyone interested in self-publishing, the two most important things are to make sure you have a good editor and a good cover designer.
