Just got Lady Tan's Circle of Women. Wonderful book. Thanks for giving me more reading pleasure. Did she set a precedent, that women of a certain class could be more doctor than mid-wife or was this just a one-time event?

As an adoptee who reunited with birth parents, I really appreciate how well you provided insight into each characters challenges and overall angst with an almost indescribably emotional and entrenching event.
