What is the difficulty, in Your writing process?

Will Schwalbe The most difficult thing I encounter in my writing process is myself: that is, my tendency to goof off, to watch television when I should be writing, to surf the web, to nap, to putter around the apartment, to call friends. I'm also stubborn -- and if I've put a lot of time into a page or passage, then I'll keep at it even if I'm pretty sure it isn't working. Sometimes this is a good thing and I find I've gotten at something difficult. Often, though, it's just throwing good time after bad.

I just finished the audio version of your book The End of Your Life Book Club and I loved it. It was just lovely. Thank you for sharing your experience. I was born Aug 1962 so we are the same age! Maybe that is why I related to your stories so well! What is my question? I had to add that.
