Linwood Barclay Hi Rose: I've always felt people should read what gives them pleasure, and if you encounter something in a writer's work that offends, you should read something else. I've always wanted to write the way I think people under incredible stress would talk. I wrote No Time ten years ago, and I think there may be less profanity in my more recent books, but it's definitely still there. I find it somewhat curious that people are happy to be entertained by depictions of violence and great cruelty, so long as it is done without objectionable language. I think the acts depicted are more obscene than the actual words. Thanks for your kind note, and have a wonderful day. Linwood
