Hi, Michael I would like to know what happen to your Rhune (The First Empire #1) will it Be publish?
Michael J. Sullivan
Hey Yomi...that is the plan, yes! I tend to write the whole series before releasing any of the books which means it can take longer. At this point I've finished three of the stories of that series (and there will be 4 total). I'm waiting on feedback from my "alpha reader" and then I'll do some editing and it will be in a state where those outside my "inner circle" can look at it. My hope is to have that done by the end of the month.
As to when those books will be available, it's far too soon to tell. Until my publisher has a chance to look at it (again the end of the month) it's impossible to do any serious planning.

Hi Michael, I just read every book currently out in Riyria. Although I read them in possibly the unintended way of: Age of Myth -> Riyria Chronicles -> Riyria Revelations First would just wanted to say you are an amazing writer and really enjoyed the world. My question is do you have plans to write stories taking place after the events of Riyria Revelations? Thanks, Joe

Hi Michael!I am doing research for a paper on the worth of an MFA in creative writing and would love your input, if you have time. Do you have an MFA yourself? If so, how do you feel that it helped you. Are there benefits to getting published after earning an MFA? If not, do you feel like you missed anything? How have you developed your writing?Any wise words for others considering a writing path? Thanks! ~Stacee

Hi Michael. I'm curious about your decision to "revisit" a story at least somewhat already told in the Royce and Hadrian books. I've read other answers about the books exploring what really happened which I can get behind as a history major. But how do you feel about readers already knowing the ending? Thank you for your time! - Samantha
