Thanks for the question, Monika. Throughout school and into young adulthood, I was an avid short story writer. At a certain point I needed to prove to myself that I could write novels. It was very daunting, but I learned that by taking it one page at a time, I could write longer fiction. Thus, was born my first full-length book. Several more followed - some published, some not. But the first one was a breakthrough.
