I know Hidden Bodies is already written (because I pre-ordered it months ago lol), but is it too late to beg (and plead) that Joe not get caught? Because he already has a lot of bodies, and that would add up to life in prison =[

(view spoiler)[Aaaaaaah I llove this, Amber! I know. I get it. For me, the end of Hidden Bodies is so Joe in that not only is he always supremely logical and rational in his own twisted way--knowing that money/lawyers can trump truth in all legal situations--but he's also going to be a father. So in his mind, he's won. I loved this image of him curled up in a cell, feeling like the cell is a joke because he's going to be a dad, he has people out there who love him, want him out. He's always rising above his circumstances. And I think that's part of why we are drawn to him in spite of all this murder, all this crime. There is something enticing in his continued quest to find the bright side of any situation. Yet when it comes to humans, he is all about noticing when the dark has taken over the light. And that's what's terrifying about him, his confidence and utter belief in his opinions. Nothing scarier than someone with that much conviction. Not to me anyway. (hide spoiler)]

I'm in the middle of your book "You". I keep cheering Joe on. I absolutely love him! He reminds me of Dexter. In the beginning I thought he was creepy and scary. He totally changed my mind. How did you come up with his character? Did anything in particular influence you? Do you think you will write a third book for 'You' series?

I literally fell in-love with Joe, and I am such a HUGE fan of your writing and books. Read both of them within days. Are you coming out with another book, doesn't have to necessarily have to be about Joe but just a new one period? Something along the lines of you and hidden bodies
