Hi, Did you write Birdie? If so, it's hands down the best interracial romance novel I've ever read. And I was an English major who's read a lot of novels romance and otherwise. What else have you written? I want to read everything you've done. And please please please tell me that you're working on another interracial romance. I wish I could get a hard copy of Birdie I have so many friends I want to gift it to.

Cara Coe Hi, Monique! I did write Birdie. I have two pen names: I write under M.C. Carr for contemporary novels and Cara Coe for fantasy novels. Birdie is the only book published under M.C. Carr but there will be more coming and will most likely be interracial. I tend to draw from what I know and I grew up in an interracial household. Right now I have two fantasy novels in a trilogy out under Cara Coe (I do not mention race a lot in those books but the heroine has dark skin and the hero is white) and the final installment as well as another unrelated book is in the works.
