Amy Stewart I agree! I hope the Netflix people are reading this. The rights have been optioned by Brownstone Productions, which is Elizabeth Banks' production company. There are two very talented women screenwriters attached to the project. They're working out their idea for a series now, and reading the sequel, LADY COP MAKES TROUBLE, to see where it might go next. Then, with any luck, they'll pitch it to a network and get a green light to start working! Fingers crossed!

Have you read Daughter of a Daughter of a Queen by Sarah Bird (another UT grad)? Intriguing story of a slave, disguised as a man, who enlisted in the Buffalo Soldiers. Based on a true story. Highly recommended by the Lake Travis Community Library Texas My Texas book club and me!! Helen Kott
