Goodreads asked Gary M. Levin:

How do you get inspired to write?

Gary M. Levin Looking back on my traditional Jewish childhood, I never would have guessed my
questioning would lead me on the road of my spiritual journey.

I grew up in a Conservative Jewish home, upheld the faith that was required of me, and at thirteen had my Bar Mitzvah. I was a man- a Jewish man. And, I stopped going to Temple right after that! I questioned the Hebrew I was reading, since I had no clue what it meant. When I questioned the prayer, I got in trouble with the Rabbi and my parents. I questioned things in the Universe that could not be explained, but I was drawn to. I seemed to be drawn to what was then, very “far out concepts,” more associated with the hippies.

As I grew into adulthood, I paid attention to what was being introduced into my life; crystals, chakras, affirmations, manifestations, shamanism and being introduced to my guardian angel.

My journey has helped me immensely, and I wanted to give back this knowledge to others.
Writing an introductory book on Metaphysics and New Age Thought seemed like the perfect vehicle to accomplish this.

And, writing a book was on my bucket list! My parents would be so proud!
