Hi Waverly!
It took me a few days to respond because I wasn't sure how to answer this. To be quite honest, the idea never occurred to me and took me by surprise.
The short answer is no, but I'm flattered and I certainly appreciate the offer!

I work 72+ hours a week, so it isn't funding that I need so much as I require time. I think every writer is different and for me it takes a few undisturbed hours to be able to submerse myself in order to keep track of the timeline and events for each character. Keeping them where they are supposed to be, as well as maintaining their personalities with whatever they are confronted with and how they react is vitally important to a believable storyline.
I wasn't nearly as busy when I initially wrote Hatch as I am now, so the process is much slower. I am however, working on it!

Book 2? Your book Hatch was marvelous. In fact it was probably what started my hunt for dragon books after Anne McCaffrey and other authors. In all these years I have never forgotten this book And every so often keep looking for book number two. I fully understand how difficult it can be to write and at the same time liver real life and support a family. I do hope however that you do continue writing.
