Write and keep learning the craft. Join a writing group and if there is none close to you, start up your own. There's info out there on the net on how to run groups. Go to conferences and workshops so you can both network with like minded people and learn. I've made some lovely friends this way too. Find a critique partner who's work you enjoy reading and who you trust.
