Nope. Not paranormal at all. South Cove is a fictional town set on the central California coast in contemporary times.
Now, my Council series is paranormal, so avoid that one, but it's the only set of books that fall into the woo-woo lane. :)

Just stumbled upon this series a couple weeks ago and now have read all of the "tourist trap mysteries. Just finished Killer Party and am hoping we find out a little more about Aunt Jackie's situation in the next book out in June. Will we learn more about Jackie and Harold?? Thanks for taking me away to South Cove for awhile, it was a great getaway! Looking forward to July and Sept!!
