How do you deal with writer’s block?

David J. Horn I find that if I am having trouble writing anything, or if I begin entering one of those self critical modes where I think everything I write is crap, then the best remedy is too stop writing and start reading. Usually, reading a book that I like opens me up a bit and gives me the ability to look at what I am doing with fresh eyes.
