When I first started writing, NaNoWriMo helped inspire me. Knowing I had a goal of 50,000 words in a month was a motivation.
These days getting inspired sometimes requires a few days of reading or watching movies. I am able to come with an endless stream of ideas, but getting them down on paper and developing them into full novels requires hard work and self-motivation.
