I rarely have that problem, and I do not think I have ever suffered true writer's block. If I do get to a point in a story where I am not certain where to go, I work on another. When I return to the story in question, by then, the characters are already telling me how to proceed.
My problem is I do not have enough time in a day to write as much as I wish!
