Maria Renate
Maria Renate asked Caden:

I've started reading it and I just want to be clear: there are two characters, Caden, and this Michael Cardazia, whose journals Caden is recounting in a journal of his own? Seems like some serious writing gymnastics there. Why did you decide to write the story that way?

Caden Hi Marie. That's correct. Caden finds Michael's journals by accident and recounts the story. So most of the story is told from Caden's interpretation. In the second book, how Caden finds these journals is revealed. Also, what happens to Caden as a result of finding the journals and telling the story, is evident in the 2nd book as well. Thanks for the question. Please let me know if you have any other questions or thoughts.
