Goodreads asked Sarah Wallin-Huff:

How do you get inspired to write?

Sarah Wallin-Huff Honestly, The Kesher Chronicles is something I've been working on - while actively pursing my music and composition career - for the past 20 years. (That's why Part 2 is already finished.) I first started writing seriously back in 1992 with short mystery novellas. Then in 1994, I first started writing Kesher Part 1. And growing up, I had no idea if I would end up pursuing writing or music in college. Turns out music won out, but I still kept up on the stories I had started. I had so much growing to do personally, emotionally and spiritually, and The Kesher Chronicles just kept growing and improving with me. So - in a very abstract and allegorical way - Kol-Kesher's story (and *minor spoiler* that of everyone involved with him-her) is my own.
