I live an hour and a half away from Grand Marais, Minnesota. It's my favorite place in the world. It's the quaintest little town on the North Shores of Lake Superior. The location has inspired me for years to create a story set in a similar location. The novel I am currently working on - THE BOY I LEFT BEHIND - is inspired by this town and it's people.
