What a great critique and writing partner you must make, Crissy, and my question is. Do you ever have time, with your busy schedule, to simply read a good book? Inspired by my car audio shop, I too write about brothers bound by the change in their not so human bodies. Plasmetric bodies. It's great fun to write, isn't it? Whoops, 2 questions. Ha!

Plasmetric bodies! That sounds v. cool. I do find time to read; I'm not *that* busy. It's one of my favourite pastimes (along with TV marathoning). My publisher told me when I was just a baby editor that it's important for an editor to read widely and to read beyond what they are publishing. And it's very true. My editor-brain also benefits when I read for pleasure! As for writing, it *can* be great fun — once you get into the groove. Takes me a bit to get there. xo
