Your Bigtime series is so much fun, I really feel like it would make an interesting TV show or movie. They're such enjoyable reads! Any chance you'll be adding to this series?

Thanks! I appreciate that. Glad you are enjoying my Bigtime series. I've self-published some books in the series -- NIGHTINGALE and FANDEMIC -- if you haven't read those yet. More info is on my website: http://www.jenniferestep.com/series/b...
I would love to write more in the series, but self-publishing is very time-consuming, and I have a hard time adding it to my writing schedule (which is already full going into 2017). So I do hope to add to the series, but it will probably be a while. I definitely won't be writing a new Bigtime story in 2016. We'll see what happens next year. Thanks again!

Hey Jennifer, I know this is a bit like blowing my own horn, but hey, who get's anywhere without being proactive? I'm trying to get a site together of both writers and readers who put up their fave paranormal authors and novels. I'd love to get you along for the ride, even though this is taking the micky. Facebook: Paranormal BookFest. Please join? Cheers and bottom's up (metaphorically - or maybe not...)

I recently started re-reading the entire Elemental Assassins series from the beginning (including short stories) in anticipation for book #14 coming out in February. I was wondering how you came to write the short stories and novellas? Were they just ideas as you were writing the main books to get a history right in your head or did you write them after the fact to fill in gaps in a character's story? Thanks!
