Hi Cornelia! Your books are my favourite and I can't wait for the sequel to Inkdeath! This series is one of the first I had ever read and is the reason you are my favourite author. For the sequel, will it be just one book or a few? and do you have any idea when it will be published? I'm very excited for it! Thanks
Cornelia Funke
Hi Emmy,
I think for now it will only be one book, as I still have to write three books for my Mirrorworld series and would like to do a few more sequels for Dragonrider and write another Ghosthunter Book and .....you see?:)
I have 14 chapters of The Color of Revenge, the Inkworld sequel, and I currently think about publishing it in three installments to not have my readers wait for too long, but I am not sure yet that's possible. I fear it won't be before 2018 that you can read it in English but.....I will try my best to maybe get a glimpse of it to all the Inkworlders earlier. Promise

I just wanted to thank you for creating the worlds that you did. As I was growing up, I always felt like I had a family with Moe, Maggie, the thief lords gang and I feel live I have flown across the world with Ben. I carried those books with me wherever I moved to and I would open the pages when I needed something familiar. Why inspired you to write such close bonds between your characters? Thank you.
