It came from a bit of a daydream really, I could see a young witch sketching symbols into the night sky in a garden. I knew it was some sort of spell!
I wrote it all down really quickly and then set about working out who it was, what they symbols were and what she was doing there. That was the start of The Apprentice Witch!
