Hello first a comment then a question. I recently finished reading the Gabriel's Inferno series and was really impressed by the music you mentioned in your books. Thanks to you I have begun listening to Loreena McKennitt and Thomas Tallis on Pandora very frequently. Am about to begin the Florentine series and am looking forward to it. Thank you for writing such amazing books. How do you pick your music choices?

In many cases, I find music by listening to the radio or by hearing a song in a restaurant or coffee shop and using the Shazam app to find it. But in a lot of instances, readers send songs to me and I'm very grateful for that. I enjoy listening to world music and hearing from readers around the world and so sometimes the music choices come from the readership.

Hi, I am struggling to purchase any of the Florentine series books here.I do not want an eBook as I Love to walk past my bookshelf everyday, grab a book and retreat to my own world. I do not experience the same feeling with my kindle, call me old school.Do you know where they sell your new series in South Africa?I live in a small town on the North Coast in Kwazulu Natal.Please help.

Do you chose them beforehand and write with that particular song in mind or do you look for a song that fits the theme of what you are writing at that time? I absolutely love your song choices! They are incredibly beautiful and incredibly perfect! Also, thank you for introducing me to artists and songs I was previously unaware of!
