There's no such thing as late! I'm just grateful you read it. I tend to write standalone stories, so you could almost go in any direction. Maybe start at the beginning, with Running Barefoot.

I have just finished reading The Bird and the Sword and I'm just curious why this incredibly well-written, engaging book wasn't picked up by a larger publisher? I read a lot of fantasy and this book is far and above better than much of what is published by mainstream publishers. Also, are you planning a sequel or a series?
