What made you begin writing poetry?

The Duke of Quails sorry for the late answer, but i think its because of the beauty in poetry. Poetry is the only genre were one can be express themselves in so many ways. You can speak on; politics, personal pain, happiness, a special moment in time. Poetry is a silent revolution, a mystery in a sense because it could never mean one direct thing, a poem can have many meaning or many secrets depending on the reader who is reading it. What made me write poetry? because i can speak my heart, in a way people can listen.
