Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

V.E. Avance I got the idea for On the Edge and its sequel, On Solid Ground: Abby's Freedom from my own personal life experiences. Though my experience was nothing like Abby's, I felt that; with a quarter of the female popluation suffering from domestic violence, a fictional book the shows the cycle of abuse along with the struggle to overcome abuse was needed. Through Abby's eyes, the reader feels what she feels throughout the books.
