Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Gillian Thomas I'm an employment lawyer, and I cite the cases in my book practically every day in my work. They're that embedded in the existing law that applies to women at work. And I realized that as often as I cited these case names, I knew next to nothing about how those cases came to be decided, and who the women were who brought them. I wanted to celebrate these unsung heroines, and teach a little employment law along the way.
