How do you get inspired to write?

Sanjay Gupta Inspiration comes from various sources - from the happenings and my immediate response to events, from the positive work being done by real, live people, from other writers' and artists' work, through the tragicomic or fragile nature of our lives...even from the will to make a difference through writing after seeing so many abhorrent things around me. Of course, lately, I get inspired to write through an inner calling, especially when I'm meditating.
