My sister and I love your books! Every time a new one comes out we share so we can gossip about the characters together. Thank you for writing them! My question is: have you written any of your family or friends into characters? If yes, do they know?

Yes and yes. In fact when my mother found out I was writing Rue, and Rue's perspective on her mother, Mum's response was "uh oh." Which should tell you Mum is some (decidedly not all) of the inspiration for Alexia. Meet me in person some time and I will tell you the story of Tunstell.

Dear Lady Carriger, I was so enjoying your latest work, Prudence, until a misspelling caught my eye and made me spit my tea across the room. Page. 45, final paragraph, "the drones were re-enacting the balcony seen from Romeo and Juliet..." I know you meant "scene," but thought you should know for the many future editions!
