How do you deal with writer’s block?

James Bow I've been lucky that I haven't had writer's block while a deadline has loomed. Heaven help me if that does happen. I do sometimes run into obstacles while I'm writing an idea I'm pursuing. One of the best ways around that, in my experience, is to have more than one project on the go. This way, you can channel your creative energies to something else productive, and the act keeps the juices flowing. Eventually, it shakes something loose that can be used in the first project.
