How would you describe your creative process? And do you need absolute silence? Or does music/back ground noise help?

Kimberley Hatch I prefer music, but I get distracted and end up dancing around the room for a few songs before i manage to buckle down and focus. I never manage to make it very long without someone in the house needing me, but once i get going i get pretty obsessive. I see something, most of the time completely random and it sparks a couple sentences. Then it tends to spread like wildfire.
